Academy Awards!!
This film will be introduced in the future as an Academy Award Nominee. We wish that Justin Bieber might even present the award to the director himself. This short film is about a young girl who deals with her Runaway from home, just like Kanye West's new music video. We worked so hard that we even shot in the 2011 New York snow storm which made it difficult to travel and cover the camera.

FILMING
The frist day of filming we had to change everything because it was a snow and rain day. All of our outside shots had to be changed and all we did was the indoor shots. The weather was a big problem for us that day. Filming was good overall the actors did a good job and sometimes people just burst out laughing. Our filming day was fun and thanks to the group the movie will come out great.
Making a Short Movie..
Before MWI came I was thinking that making a movie was going to be easy. Making a movie is not an easy thing to do but when you have a good group you can make it. I was the writer of the story and thanks to the group the story change and became even more stronger. One of the things that was hard was getting actors. At the end we had to use two people from the class. Making a movie was hard but then at the same time it was fun.
Actors
When we shot a few days ago our actors actually showed up and it was fun to be able to work with people that we didn't know. Our last shoot was with Arifa and Ronald (peers), so having different actors this time was a pretty cool experience for us :)
Third Day of Shooting...

Producer POV :)
This was my first time experiencing what it is like to be a Producer of a film. Even though it was a short film it was a great expericence. Somethings that I really enjoyed to do were go out on the shott days with the equipment and really take our time to make this film to the best of our ability .
The hardest part of making this was that we only had 1 month to make the entire thing, wee had two days to shoot and about a week to edit and make things nearly perfect . The hardest part of being a Producer is having to be in control of everything that is going on, having people always asking you what they should do or how they should do something . But over all it was a great expericene and I had lots of fun .

On set
A lot of people weren't pleased with their crews, but our group has been good. At first we had some difficulties picking roles and stuff but then we switched some stuff out and everything worked out guhhh-reat.
Our crew is pretty good at doing our own jobs and making sure that if anyone needs help, we help them out. We work pretty well as a group now that everyone is assigned roles that they can handle.
Since we all do our jobs pretty well, and have a basic picture of what we want our film to be like, I think everythings gonna work

Shooting Pt 2!
Tomorrow we're going to shoot the rest of our scenes and HOPEFULLY everything will run smoothly! I think it will, because now we know what its like to actually be on set and have to get things done in a certain time frame. Also we know what went wrong and what went right on the last shoot, and what we can do to avoid making mistakes.
Now we just wait to see how it all goes :)

Lighting
When I was choosing scenes to put in the movie I noticed that the lighting was not good. In some scenes the light was really bright and in some dark. In some of the scenes the character was really dark that you can not see who that person is. I think this should one of the things that we as a team should work on when filming the movie. Another thing I think should be improved is the focus. In some scenes the character was not focused well and it was blurred.
Editor
I choose to be editor because I though it was going to be an easy job to do but it was no true. The program I used for the editing of the movie is Final Cut Express. It is an easy to use program but I had to work in a computer for 4 hours without a break. I had to decide what scenes to choose for the movie and cut them so that the movie goes smooth. Also it is really hard to choose scenes when some are bad. The director of photography should get more in the job because in some scenes the camera moved too fast, and the focus was not good. I hope that the next day of filming this mistakes dont happen again so that I can work better when choosing scenes for the movie.
Next day....
I think that the next day of shooting will go even better because we already kind of experimented with our jobs so we know exactly what we have to do the next day we shoot. Also it would be even easier to do exterior shots because it is not going to rain or snow in our next scheduled shoot. But I also think that there would be more challenges because we will need to travel to olther places in one day. It may get a little hectic.
First Day of FIlming!!
I think that our first production day went really well.We got all the right shots we needed for the day. Also we managed well with the production schedule because we actually finished a little earlier. There was a lot of laughter which made everyone happy and cooperative. The only thing that really messed up the day was the really cold temperature and the icy streets with the hail which made the transportation nearly impossible.
Mid-Winter Insitute Casting
Casting went really bad, we got no actors! We had many actors apply for our Making a Dream Film, but we confirmed them to audition too soon. I guess they didn't come because it was all last minute because we got no actors the first day we posted our ad. We had second auditions and STILL no actors. So our team spent a whole week finding actors that we couldn't audition. Now we have four actors and two students from our school.
Mid Wintrer Institute Day 1
On my first day of mid-winter institute, we were seperated from our usual classes. We were split up by advisory and the class was supposed to pick a film to work on. Three writers pitched their ideas and at the end of the period we were to pick a film. Our class were also picking jobs that the film would need, i.e. Production Designer, Director of Photography, Producer, ect.. My first pick was a different film, but I got into my second choice. It was okay, I really wanted to be in the first but I like this! At first I got the job of Assistant Director, but then I decided I wanted to be Director of Photography.
